CHALLENGE

Luminoso had an outdated, unwieldy tradeshow backdrop that didn’t do them any visual favors.  It was a literal weight on their shoulders: the display was 200 pounds and required four people to set up—not ideal for a company traveling to events. The cutting-edge technology company needed signage that matched their image, and they set out to upgrade the branded booth imagery.

One additional problem: Luminoso only had three weeks to get the project done before their next event.

SOLUTION

Enter Ambit. Luminoso, a Cambridge-based company, had worked with Ambit in the past. Luminoso’s founders, all MIT alumni, sought to keep printing local whenever possible and had learned that Ambit could provide fast and reliable results. In the past, Ambit had proven its value with projects like 400 case studies printed in Japanese on a quick turnaround time for an overseas trip. Luminoso had come to rely on Ambit for any printed collateral that needed to be visually compelling, and the booth display was no different.

Luminoso approached Ambit with an idea of what product they wanted and a design they had in mind. When Luminoso submitted a rough design to Ambit’s creative team, the team delivered a captivating new iteration that Luminoso was able to instantly approve.

RESULTS

Ambit was able to produce the display system for Luminoso and deliver it within their three week timeframe, providing exactly what the company needed and expected. The new signage is lighter, more mobile, and easy to pack. Not only does it look great, but it’s a more practical solution for events.
